Shapiro and Greenstein figure out Digestive Diseases!!
Congrats to Mark Shapiro and Alex Greenstein who made poster presentations at this year's Digestive Diseases Week in Washington DC. This prestigious meeting is one of the biggest annual meetings attended by both gastroenterologists and gastrointestinal surgeons and is held by the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract. Mark figured out "The Surgical Management and Outcome of Patients with Duodenal Crohn's Disease. Alex looked into "Pneumatosis Intestinalis in Adults: Surgical Indications and Risk Factors for Mortality." Both of their projects have been submitted to the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
